One of the motivations which led to the start of this editorial project was the desire to ensure that works which were well received initially are updated to the best extent possible. The authors have done a very good job of this. After several years, in line with this aim, we decided to revise a previous work, Cartagena Cultural Walks and to amplify it with new contributions that illustrate the historic cultural patrimony of Cartagena. We have been fortunate to benefit from the expertise of the authors of the original book, Miguel Martínez Andreu and Alfonso Grandal López.
